Strata

The pretty significant problem with living one's life completely within one strata, or socioeconomic class, or neighborhood, or etc. is that perspective becomes such a limited thing. In thinking, ideating, relating and piecing things together about the overall world and how one lives and functions within this place, this can be pretty confining. Probably not too much dissimilar than that of a jail cell or within a prison of sorts. If there's love and opportunity and little desire for anything more broad, I guess this isn't the biggest issue. Thinking mainly about those who grow up wealthy and stay in a predominantly "wealthy" lane, the ability to interact and see things through the eyes of the primary majority on this planet is quite small. This means something, I guess for us all.
