Gratitude

I find it interesting how even in a gratitude-infatuated culture to a degree, the majority of us misunderstand what being grateful means or the manner in which to cultivate gratitude in daily life. I like to think of things in an "it could be worse" proposition relatively often. Regardless of the turmoil or stress or needling struggles we can find ourselves within, it could be worse. Simply put, the air could be unbreathable or intolerable and we also could have no water to drink or with which to bathe and enjoy. Now THAT would be traumatic on the mind, body, etc..
