Metaphors III

I've come to learn it critical for us as people to think of ourselves in terms of metaphors at times.
Take a basketball. It's round, it bounces, and it need be filled with air in order to work properly.
If a basketball sits and is not used and doesn't rotate or spin or go through a basket on occasion...
Well, it sucks. And it is in some ways wasted. So freshen up. Spin around once in a while. Nobody or nothing is really stopping anyone. And our bodies and minds and spirits were not meant to just idle and/or rot or be filled with different ideas, behaviors, and stimuli.
It doesn't mean losing who one is necessarily, but added to it through rotations and a nudge or two.
So be a basketball. Or anything round for that matter. Truer living will likely be the result...
