Just a thought

What if we didn't get the "news" every day? What if perhaps the news was delivered or reported upon every other day? Maybe even every third day? What would be the effect of such a change? Maybe some more in depth, focused journalism. Possibly an opportunity to report upon a story or two that may get omitted due to a probable degree of pressure to get stories "out" on the 24 hour basis that we at some point grew accustomed to. This is perhaps an example of such a change that would result in greater overall human health. And it might not shatter a system of 24 hour news that has become embedded in a fabric of social being. But we don't get too crazy about change when we get cozy in our norms and expecting tendencies - nor when it involves a different flow of the mighty dollar.

I know some paper would be saved along with our evolving screensight, which isn't too shabby!!
