What's Happened

We may not read about it in many scientific journals (yet - or maybe we would ha) but I'll give you a synopsis of an epidemic called "Just texting." Imagine a Turtle for a second. Whenever that turtle wanted to communicate with another turtle, it hobbled on down to the nearby crick or patch of green and used it's turtle mouth to express something on its turtle mind. Now consider that turtle having another new means of communicating that did not have the elements of walking and talking and listening all mixed in. This turtle sadly inches back into its turtle shell until most tragically maybe it does not quite come back out or it loses the skills to speak and remain active, etc. temporarily in its experiment with novel communication.

Many of us have been duped when it comes to what's long been the connective tissue in our hearts, minds, and bodily fibers. Plenty of statistics would prove something relative to our unintended "distancing" from one another as a method of one of the most primary human needs - if not the most. So I guess stick your turtle neck out once in a while. Or forget to be human maybe. Lose Yourself? (Hey Em) Regardless of what it is, there is a whole natural world that is sweeping by very many of us and some of the conversations I have been having are close confirmation of a race of people being consequently out of touch. It's everywhere too. Which is both magical and also concerning and a definite stimulus for change with many of our current and looming challenges.

That's all. Go Turtles.
