Heinous Acts. Gruesome. Monsters!
Isis. Black on White, White on Black, School shootings there are common threads.
It's a world of sensationalism and sending things to the masses quickly as means of filling a space inside, a desire of a semblance of importance. It's a human need, but it is terribly twisted. And it is something our twitching fingers and minds have allowed to boil to the surface. We have been taught to tune in to acts that represent a small faction of us, or things that simply lead to death. Because we're interested, and while many of us don't really know what we want out of life, we know we definitely don't want death. This sparks those little mind cells and we climb on board the boat with others who may be confused just like us. Not sure of the meaning of this thing called life. But our eyes have to see (fast) and we need to know the details to help grow our Fear centers, and we contact those we know - usually not via a phone call - and we actually in ways feed the beast(s) of need by way of our actions. 1 Person at a time. Me, you, he, she, her, him, little, small, etc. It's going to take a radically beautiful collective effort, and a reprogramming of our most precious vehicle between our ears. Take control of our actions, live out your own dreams and lives, and acknowledge yet choose not to get on board that small-souled boat of fear.
It's time for the silent plenty to turn into the silent few, and just maybe we start anew.
