Here's the thing

Not only the beginning line of one of my favorite movies, but the beginning for a variety of possible conversations.

Take dancing. When was the last time you danced? Not necessarily all-out body gyrations but simply swaying to a beat, melody - whatever your tone preference might be. How many times do we honestly wake up and think to ourselves, "I'm going to dance today.." I'll tell you what, there are some people that do. And even if they might not, these people are still somehow finding ways to sway their body, spirit, and mood more times than the rest of the population.

I've witnessed people get "off the wall" and move, even when most every thought acted as a deterrent. Some of these folks were 90. Some were in wheelchairs, "disabled" to a degree. Others had no money, or what we commonly tend to define as "wealth." BUT, these folks were doing things that looked wealthy to me.

Begs the question, no?

How are we going to define wealth together in this time that lies ahead? How are we going to unite people from all reaches who may feel more disillusioned, downtrodden, disconnected than at many other points in history. There seems to be a significant amount of opportunity.

Maybe part of the equation has more to do with music and dancing than who is running congress or whether or not BO and Putin can get along.

Maybe..
