I think it's interesting to think of things this way in some type of total Human Developmental theory.
I'm on the button of such a thing and its hard to describe even though it's partially true. In some type of spiritual and existential sense, I will say, that the spirit does not ever completely change - which ultimately means its up to one person to decide (in the heart) about one entire life he or she would like to rearrange. The time has been right, even more than proper, for this type of thought and living. Maybe even before VR, because the human was made with the intention and capabilities to do these things. Many of us.. have just gotten lost along the way?

think of this..  When Others who are in our surroundings or environment actually Are happy or have more fairly known - achieved and Even and keenly identifiable state of being, this simply opens the door and even windows for us to have space to continue on our own Quest instead of becoming wrapped into the fold of others lack of gratification for life - an Issue that plagues people, populations, and even universal Health at times to the very core.  We'd Do very well to spend more time here in our pursuit of being comfortable with ourselves among others and enjoy the possibilities that this Being State can bring :) )   love, only
